Upon submission, every manuscript is subjected to technical review. Our internal editorial team performs appropriateness checks on manuscripts that pass technical reviews.

Manuscripts that meet the requirements are sent out for peer review. Our internal editing team (often known as the "editors") or external editorial board invites reviewers.

After peer review, if revisions are requested:

• Major revisions are usually re-evaluated by the original reviewers.
• Minor revisions are often only re-evaluated by an editor.

The editors then make a decision:

• Further revisions are requested.
• Manuscript is accepted.
• Manuscript is rejected.

All final decisions undergo quality checks by the editorial team.

Overall editorial responsibility is with the editor-in-chief, the in-house editor, collectively, depending on the journal's structure. In all cases, editorial board members act as handling editors.
