Complaints and Appeals Policy
Journal of Multi Disciplinary Engineering Technologies (JMDET) is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, editorial integrity, transparency, and fairness. The journal provides a clear and impartial mechanism for authors, reviewers, readers, and other stakeholders to raise complaints or appeal editorial decisions.
Complaints
JMDET welcomes complaints concerning editorial and peer-review processes, delays in manuscript handling, conflicts of interest, plagiarism, duplicate publication, research misconduct, authorship disputes, ethical concerns, or any matter that may affect the integrity and fairness of the publication process.
Complaints should be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief of JMDET with relevant details and supporting evidence, where applicable. All complaints will be treated seriously, impartially, and confidentially and will be addressed in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and publication-ethics principles.
Ethical and Research-Integrity Complaints
JMDET takes allegations of plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication or falsification of data, authorship disputes, conflicts of interest, and other research-integrity concerns seriously. Such complaints will be reviewed in accordance with established publication-ethics principles and, where necessary, in consultation with the authors' affiliated institutions or relevant authorities.
Concerns regarding errors or ethical issues in published articles may result in appropriate corrective action, including an erratum, corrigendum, expression of concern, or retraction. All complaints will be handled impartially and confidentially, and individuals raising concerns in good faith will not face retaliation.
Appeals Against Editorial Decisions
Authors may appeal an editorial decision if they believe that:
A significant error or misunderstanding occurred during the review process.
Important information was overlooked.
The decision was based on an inappropriate or demonstrably incorrect interpretation of the manuscript.
There is evidence of procedural irregularity or conflict of interest.
